I played through the 5 main DROD games and tried to enter as few rooms as possible to conquer the hold.

So here are my results:

KDD 2.0

I think KDD and JtRH can't be done in less rooms,
but TCB, GatEB and TSS maybe possible to conquer in less rooms.

TSS has 883 rooms in total.

What am I missing? I've looked through JtRH in the editor, and the best I can do is 307, as follows:

Doing this, I notice that L16:1S1E is marked required but should not be, so I'll fix this in the 5.0 update. Thanks for that ;)

I'm at work now, so I can only check my excel file.

And indeed for TSS I counted the maps as well, because of the contest that Mike did.
So in my challenge the world maps aren't counted, because the doesn't count them. I forgot about that.

I was about to post the opposite challenge for TSS, but I'm not clear it's possible - I thought KevG was trying this, but I can't find the post.

I've completed TSS now (Super Bomber and Rocketeer) meeting Nuntar's criteria for that.

In my case the furthest savepoint I managed to see was 787 conquered out of 833 explored, because I allowed myself to restore
state into most of the secret rooms.

Is it possible, do we yet know, to see 883/883 explored/conquered on a restore screen?

Can we see a screenshot?

No -- there is no way to have the bad and good endings on the same restore.
