I need some more help than what's mentioned here. I can get the wraithwing moving back and forth between two squares, but I need to cover a range of three vertical and three horizontal. Can't quite get my head around how that works.
Well, you already know how to get it to move back and forth between two squares, so you've got the right idea. Basically, since your area is 3x3, you've got four vertical moves and four horizontal moves that you want to split up among your four decoys.
I'll also give you a hint for free that this room is of the type that you could make an infinite amount of circuits, not just one. So you can get the wraithwing in a loop.
One more observation that might help:

×Because wraithwings always pick the nearest eligible entity as their target to flee from, there's a one-move threshold where a wraithwing crosses over from one decoy's zone of influence to another. Thus, in the final loop, each decoy should be responsible for exactly one move.
A more explicit direction that isn't quite a complete spoiler:

×Four diagonal moves make a loop.
