None of these LCS puzzles took me more than one evening on a sheet of paper.

None took me more than one sitting without paper. There's quite a logical method of solving them that requires no guesswork.

Yeah, I did these all directly in the engine without a solver or paper.

Maybe you would benefit from a guide on the tricks used to complete this kind of puzzle.
