I am using MAC. At the entrance it is said press CMD key to excavate a 3X3 region. Pressing the CMD does not help so I cannot do anything. I have no sword and cannot leave the level. What am I missing?

I'm not sure what the default Mac controls are, but from the title screen if you go into 'Change Settings' and 'Commands', you can see what keyboard key is mapped to 'Special Command', or change it to something else you'd prefer.

Stuck again.I dont see what I am suppose to do here.Also the command key in the Mac does not respond.

"Special Command" is DROD's name for one of its controls. By default it's the decimal point on the numpad, if you have one. If that doesn't help then, as TripleM said, have a look in your settings.
