This is my last room for this level and I'm just not seeing it.
Let me know if my assumptions are incorrect, or if I just need to look harder for what I'm assuming is the solution.

Yeah, those were basically what I was figuring would be the solution, I'm just not getting there yet. But it's good to know I'm on the right track. I'll keep trying.

[EDIT: And there you go with the H&S magic. I was close the whole time, just not doing it quite right. My solution isn't as elegant as it could be, but it gets the job done.]

The trouble for me is, whichever side I enter the room from, north or west, she has 30 moves to get to one of the walls - and once she's on a wall, there's no way to get her off it, and once she's in a corner, there's no way to get her out of it.

How do you STOP her from running and heading for a wall, from move one?

Which is the only direction the queen can move in, in which she won't reach a wall?

I'm afraid I still don't get it; how am I meant to get it so the Roach Queen is moving towards the plate herself? I can get her to not go towards the walls and trap herself on turn 1; but that's as far as I know, unfortunately.

I know that. The problem's getting me below her, so I can lure her up to the pressure plate. The spawn doesn't allow for that from what I can gather; there's force arrows that can't be spawned on, and yes, even if I push it to enable spawn, at that point, she's behind them, and I'd need to push the plate to get anywhere below her, or really, anywhere near her, for that matter. Stay close to her and you can change direction if you have her spawn in the bottom right corner of the room. Remember you've got the 5 turns as the eggs mature before she can move again.
