I couldn't tell any diference between the three questions I could ask. And I also left some stuff unexplored. Right now I want to reach the end of the story. Will I per default be punished with a "bad" ending? (I asked how wide the eighth is, which unless expressed as some kind of function may be unanswarable, relating to what the pit thing said about asking unaswerable questions).

Hmm... It feels kind of counterintuitive to ask a really hard question, after the warning from the pit thing. But is that the way to do it? I mean, is it a good thing to ask a really hard question? I'm asking since I don't want to replay KDD many times in order to see all stuff, and endings :)

Ah! So then I can go for the "bad" ending first? Thanks!

I can't say for sure...but I seriously doubt that's wrong.

Okay, I seem to have a problem. I first had the cutscene at the holding vats and then

However, There is no restore point to this cutscene since you visit that room really early in the game, so I can't even get the ending anymore lest I find a decent restore point.
Is there any way to fix that without restoring?
It would save me about 4-5 levels of work.

H&A effect. Seems like one of the guys in

can do it. It would be nicer if the alchemist guy was next to it though, for clearance.

So, which areas can you *walk* back to, should you need to?

And which areas do you have to *restore* back to, should you need to?

I've been, as it were, "lawnmowing" as I go through the dungeon, getting all the secret rooms in each level so far, and so far got as far as Caught In An Eddy (this is my second play through but I've mostly forgotten how I did the first). If I were to "rush" from where I am to the ending, and get the Bad Ending (but an ending nevertheless), would I have to "restore" to, say, complete all the secret rooms and challenges to get the Better Endings, or would I have to (or be able to) "walk" to them in-game from the savepoint before the grand finale?

I see what appears to be three possible Epilogues. Just how much do I have to miss to get what appears to be the "bad" ending? It's a case of I don't want to actually do so much that I get the "good" or "best" by mistake without ever a chance to see the "bad".

But on the other hand, how does restoring rather than walking back to do rooms and challenges that have been missed because they were optional affect which ending you get?

Spoilers please! NOT hints, actual spoilers!

If you've gotten far enough, there will be question marks around the places you can find them.

I would actually suggest proceeding to the endgame first, though. Step on the checkpoint here, advance the plot, and finish the game. You'll be able to see if you're missing rooms on a level (though not levels you're missing) which will help with hunting things down.

Restore to the checkpoint here afterwards.
