I bought the game and on Challange mode, 3rd tank there is a maroon octopus. Does ANYONE know how to kill, get rid of, defeat that damn thing? Please reply ASAP.

You can't read fast can you? You shoot it until it turns blue and then the game says "Stop shooting! Alien regains health!" That's your que NOT to shoot it. Wait it out until it turns maroon again and then blast the sucker to calimari.
