I tried placing a construct pile on the door to open to the eye, I've tried placing enough to get the roach to open that door instead, but either way I don't see another way than being on the door when it closes.

The sequence of hot tiles are only important for getting access to the evil eye. The roach can be dispatched quickly on the hot tile nearest to it.

I've been stuck on this one for a while and it's my last room on the level. I can kill the eye, no problem. But then I end up with either a roach stuck at 17,17 and a loose construct, or a construct at 17,17. I have tried all manner of options. What am I missing?

Hm - we seem to have a problem here. The solution you describe is the same as in youtube.

Unfortunately the room is different. The door at (16,3) does not appear in youtube. Very strange...

I was severely held up on this one by thinking that there was a need for something to be constantly on the pressure plate. There isn't! Once you realise that it's really not that difficult!

I still have no clue what to do; one construct always lives at (17,17), but I have to park it there so the roach can get to the westernmost plate.

Is the issue that the construct always revives before you get everything else killed? If so then check out the hint above from xpym, it's pretty explicit in telling you how to deal with that.

×Basically just remember that you can use the pickax to push dead constructs. Push the thing when the threat clock reads 30 and it will stay dead for the next turn cycle.

I can't really have that issue if it's not dead in the first place. It gets in a spot where I can't kill it, and I can't go over to it because I press the plate at (18,3) to kill the eye so I can get that roach.

EDIT: Oh, got it. If you're stumped...

That's not a different problem. That is, in fact, a problem that would be solved if you killed the construct before pressing the plate and it stayed dead until the other monsters were killed.
