×I think I have to kill it with the northern fluff because I can't get far enough away from the middle and the brain is likely to draw the south fluff. Unfortunately, no matter when I break the fluff, I can't get the timing right so the fluff kills the roach before it moves onto the plate; either the roach is too close and steps onto the plate on the last turn, or the roach is too far away and the puff goes for me instead.

The other option I can see is somehow stalling until another puff kills the brain, but I've had no luck with that. Mostly because I haven't gotten any fluff far enough north to get past the entrance to the brain's chamber without going after me instead.

×I just had to stall the roach long enough to push a puff into the brain.

×1. The roach has to press all three pressure plates without going too far left.
2. There is a preferred order in which the plates should be pressed.
3. Because I need time to lure the roach in the wrong direction, I suppose it will be order Top-Middle-Bottom (and then I lure the roach back to the top).
4. The unbrained roach will press the first of the three pressure plates.
5. While it is walking down the long fluff path, I open up the second hallway so that the brained roach will turn around after pressing the first plate.
6. Now I have to close the path again with two fluffs and run down for the third path once the roach is inside the passage.

×When you cut the fluff to open a path for the brained roach, this creates one puff. Move away, and that puff goes towards the roach. With correct timing, you can push another puff onto the adjacent square so that fluff is re-formed, entirely covering the big pressure plate.

×You just need to open a path to get the brained roach moving backwards, and when it gets to the vertical path in the back, you have plenty of time to seal that path and change the roach to unbrained movement, which you can use to get to the plate. Then you just need to stab hole to get it to turn around and head towards a different one. Feel free to take your time about it... I did middle-top-middle-bottom-middle (no need to stab on that first middle... the roach starts heading to it unbrained), no need to try and get it in exactly three. And it's fine if the roach hits the big plate at the end... you just need to get to the brain first (and you should have plenty of time). Just leave one puff near the exit to take care of it, and drive another onto the brain and you're done.

×The staff can also push individual squares of fluff, and after every turn, these squares become puffs if they can't form a stable fluff blob.

Strike the fluff on a multiple of 5 and let the puff that forms move towards the roach. Then push a square of fluff behind it to reform the fluff, covering the pressure plate.

×You can form the fluff a good 14 turns before it gets to the plate... you've got more than enough time to start doing it sloppily before then, and if it takes some more turns you're still good, you just need about 6 to get to move to the next point and poke a hole. You could spin around just to show off and still do it (yes, I verified that... backed off and did a full spin three times during the room).

×Plugged fluff doesn't always look plugged.
