It's not actually as bad as it looks - you also have the very beginning of the fourth spawn cycle with which to spawn extra puffs and kill roaches, since the fourth puff up North has to wait its turn before it can actually kill the brain. If you can separate Beethro from any leftover unbrained roaches, you could even wait extra spawns and generate even more puffs, although of course unbrained roaches are harder to manipulate in this way than brained roaches.

It's not the end of the world if you don't get back to your original position, but it does help.

I can't manage to kill the 8 roaches with the 8 fluffs AND get back in time for the next spawn...

This is the type of room where a demo doesn't help much, unless you're going to write down the moves and follow them exactly. There's a lot of chaos in this room, making a move in a slightly different direction or at a different time can cause a puff or two to change targets... but even taking a different path between two points that make the puffs act the same can change the roaches, which will change the puffs, which might kill a different set of roaches, which will change the puffs again. It'd probably be easier to abuse unlimited undo to hammer through if you're having trouble. This is very much a trial and error room.

As for hints,

Your assumption that you need to create 8 puffs, kill 8 roaches, and get back into position to repeat is wrong. This room isn't that neat. I created 8 puffs when I was lucky enough to be in position, otherwise I accepted less. And I certainly didn't kill 8 in the first cycle... they start too far away, I probably killed more in a later cycle to compensate (I can't check right now). Probably never exactly 8 in any cycle though.

I used roaches to block fluff growth at times. Not necessarily a single one positioned exactly to create 2 puffs, but I know I managed a pair to to block the fluff from growing and produce one puff.

but I just get nowhere. So I realy gonna need that demo

I can't really say there's any trick here. If you can find a setup where you kill each roach wave and return to split the puffs every wave, then you're good. If too many roaches are alive after the first wave, then you probably won't make it. I was able to get by with 1 roach alive per wave and when they unbrained, there were few enough for me to get into a position where I can manipulate puffs to them.

If you still can't find a setup, I'll post a demo

I'm gonna have to ask for a demo for this room. I tried it for a while, solved the entire level, got stuck here again, waited a couple of days, and I still can't get even close to solving it

Been replaying TSS and I just worked out a way to get a repeatable pattern that gets rid of all the roaches and lets you return to the starting point for the next cycle. It's still somewhat fiddly but it makes things significantly less random.
