Hey everyone. I had trouble with this room for the longest time because there was a minor detail that I didn't know about the game's mechanics.

Everyone in the thread seems to already know that detail, so the hints were kind of cryptic to me.

Well, here it is, hope it helps someone in the future:

4. Now play more timing tricks with the queen on the west: trap
her again in spawn, and push her off to the east, whilst yourself
remaining in the west

Now you can trip the door, and let the seep cross over into the
west.

I'm just not getting to that point...
5. We're not quite done yet: keep controlling the queen with timed spawns, and set it up so she blocks herself in the open
corridor against a spawned roach.
6. Now you can relax and tidy up.

Karl Popper's hint doesn't make any sense to me. Step 1 is impossible as described, since the east seep just kill me unless I go about 3 columns to the east to get them arranged east-west along the wall instead of north-south like they start. Or unless I kill them, which obviously won't work either.

I think there are a few. I actually pushed the queen out to the east without her moving west at all.

That did it for me, thanks. Although I still did need to trying to do everything at once was just never going to work for me. It worked once I spent more than one spawn cycle in the north end of the room.

I'm stuck.

I assume that you have to kill both seep on the west side before trying to get through the corridor, and one on the east side in the process?

And that you have to do the whole thing and reach the south wall before the roach queen can hit the pressure plate on either side, and deal with her latest spawn at the same time?

Which means...

(1) If you send the roach queen westwards:

Assuming all the rest is successful, the queen is now in the southwest corner, backed up against the west wall (7,28). Beethro is on the southern wall, facing west after having dealt with the roach spawn. The two remaining seep are still on the eastern side of the corridor, in the walls (19,24) and (20,24).

And I have no means of driving the queen *northwards*. She is directly west of me: I must step one more row to the south: the only way to make her move northwards is to step on the southeastern pressure plate. Which of course makes a seep step on the arrow...

Alternatively if I send the queen eastwards, I can get her off the southern wall by stepping on the SW pressure plate, but I then can't send her back west again.

Almost... I can get it so the seep is at the west part, both seeps in the chambers have been defeated, and all that remains is the queen on the yellow door. Thing is, though... I can't really figure out what comes next. Or even if I did anything right. I can't get past the queen, and that's required. That'd mean killing her. Even if I COULD get past, well, now I have to get past the seep. The only way to hold it back is with a force arrow... on the other side, and so it's impossible to really utilize to any advantage. So it's either get killed by the seep or kill the queen I put on the open door in the first place.

If anyone could just cough up a demo at this point, PLEASE, do so; I'm a visual learner and this and one other room are all that separates me from progress.

EDIT: It's all this room now. Someone, PLEASE send help.
