One of the last rooms I have to clear on this level, and I'm stumped.

I actually don't get this room at all. I can't go on the second half of the room because I need to keep the seep alive, but I need to step on the pressure plates.

I guess I should have been clearer: it's funny because I understand how to do the second part of that room, yet I can't manage to go south in any way without getting my face eaten by seep. Do I actually need to clear out 4 seep to make it down there?

How to stop the seep from left to right? Neither the queen nor her spawn can not get stuck in the door.

The queen can get stuck there. Keep her directly below you, and only move her to one side when she's close to spawn and you will be able to get above her again (same trick as in 1E but horizontal). Then you can slip onto one of the pressure plates to move her upwards.
