I'm not seeing it.

The engineer closes the door to fast, so I wont get through the north passage.
And the south passage is blocked with the pressure plates... :weep

any hints?

This isn't helping me. As far as I can see, the rightmost pressure plate is an impenetrable barrier and the temporal resonator's area contains nothing remotely useful. Is there some scripting effect I'm missing?

Yes, I noticed that the first time I looked at the pressure plates. It's not particularly useful when there's no way to trigger it, though. As I said, the rightmost pressure plate looks like an impenetrable barrier, and the temporal resonator doesn't affect anything relevant.
