Is there a way to set the clones weapon state? Is this a wished for event? It's just that in this case, you are unable to pre-place clones with anything other than a sword. I have found a workaround, however, it requires you to generate entity after setting your weapon. So not a bug I guess... But scripting can't change the clones if they are already in the room.

No, but you can have a turn 0 placement of the clones. Setting and then resetting the player's weapon (after Generate Entity) should work.
