So I can kill the roaches in the second chamber from the left by entering from the bottom, and I can kill the roaches in any other chamber by entering from the top. So I go from bottom to top using the second from the left chamber, and I return to the bottom using any other chamber. At this point, I can't go any further, because any remaining chamber doesn't seem to be clearable from the bottom. And hints?

What do you think that wubba is there for, anyway? He's your friend!

But, he can't help you clear the room all by himself.

WUBBA'S ARE SO CUTE! But... I've been trying that, and he just doesn't seem to be enough. I can't figure out what else could be used...

Although I still haven't been able to clear this room, I think there is a mechanic involved here that I don't understand. I'm able to clear the second section from the left, but I don't understand why this works. As far as I can tell all four sections are identical. What am I missing?

All monsters in the room move in a fixed order, which you can tell by right-clicking on each one. In this room, you don't need to remember the order of all 16 roaches, but within each box, the relative order of the four roaches is important and affects how they move when the box is opened.

Well, I appreciate the help, but the roach order idea was completely new to me. I was able to solve the room, but I honestly never would have guessed that the roaches didn't all move the same. Ah well. I'll keep it in mind next time

mmm ... i do not understand any of the hints. How can the wubba move in a different lane? How can he lure the roaches out? As soon as i step on the plate the inside door opens and the outside door closes. I managed to clear the second lane and any of the others, but always only two and not four.

Yeah, this room has me stumped; I have ZERO CLUE what on earth I'm meant to do with the Wubba. I know I need to take it with m the first time I go up, but then I have zero clue what route to take.

As noted earlier in this thread, only one of the passages can be cleared by Beethro starting at the bottom.

Due to how the dagger works, bringing the wubba up a passage with you won't change this.

Wait, I can clear a passage WITHOUT taking the Wubba with me going upwards? This entire time I thought I had to use the Wubba to get past the chamber 2nd to the left. Though, what chamber do I take it to? I also still have issues in getting the wubba to the other side; something I NEED to do to clear the room in a situation I can escape from.

Edit: Then ol H&S magic kicked in. Oops.
