I did it by leading it in a rough triangle counterclockwise. The key insight was that if you trap it at the end rather than let it fully extend, it won't be able to pull the chain tight. This gives you much more control over which plates it covers.

I really need a strong hint here, perhaps for mirror placement. Not seeing how to get this gentryii to all the plates.

For those of you who don't enjoy figuring out the right Gentryii manipulation, there's a very slow but perfectly doable solution involving



Took me about 9,000 moves but I got there in the end.
