Indeed, when I solved the room the first time I paused to say, "What? I suppose I could rewind and just have the third guy stand by the exit, or just leave the room now without rewinding." And so my Beethro has an open time token, and will spend the rest of his life wondering if he'll ever just snap back into that room.
