I can get to the checkpoint, but I have no idea what to do from there. It seems impossible to lure a gentryii to the leftmost pressure plate without getting stuck or dying.

The room looks like it would be solveable if the blue gate was open, but that would require clearing this room while it's closed...

Maybe I need to clear the secret room on this level first? (It doesn't seem likely as that room is colored pink on the minimap while this room is red.)

I am at the entrance of Older holding vats. Gentrii Grounds is listed instead.
My question is What do I have to do in order to open the blue door there.I have completed all the rooms I think except for the secret room East of 3N,4E

You mean that you are in the Older Holding Vats Entrance? That blue door starts open and closes when you finish the level. Remember, Beethro was trying to shut the door to prevent the guards from assaulting him and 1st Chemist at the start of the game.

If you try to leave there before clearing the level, Beethro just mentions that he has no reason to go that way, and you can't leave.

In other words, there is nothing beyond that door. You can never take that path.

If you are referring to the blue door in the entrance of the Gentryii Grounds, you need to clear the entrance and leave in order for the room to be cleared. That door will then open if you have cleared the rest of the level as well.

I am done with the Gentryii Grounds.My questions now is what it is I have not done .When I leave Stuck with a big Stick I come to the Rooted hub 2N,3E.I cant take the path to
Dugandy.It wont open .What else do I have to do?

Go to that room that Really Big Stick exits into, then go north of there.

Okay, I think we're having some sort of miscommunication here because the only "authorization" door that stops you from going north is in 2N1E, and that leads to Gentryii Grounds, which it seems you've already visited. If you've already been to Dugandy, you need to take the stairs in 3N3E.

Also, they'll ask for the authorisation from a distance, but you have to move close to the door to actually show your authorisation, so if you think you should be able to get through try moving next to the door.
