Okay, I solved it. Heres how:

you dont need to use the trapdoor path. You can get rid of the keg at
(18,19) by standing at
(16,20) facing east and going NE. This trivially lets you get into the 11-keg arrangement, but with the trapdoor path still available.
Now, get rid of the NW keg according to all the hints already posted. This will get you to the 10-keg arrangement from Godot23s screenshot. Its not as tricky as the 11-keg one, but just in case it causes problems:
