Wow when I played through the easy way, I had a feeling that there would be a hard way coming up soon. But I can't for the life of me figure this room out. My current status: I got the goblin to the pressure plates, gathered the speed potion, and make my way towards the roach. However, I can't get the goblin to stay on the pressure plates long enough to kill the roach. I've also tried allowing the goblin to die, then bringing the roach alive over to the plates using the raft, but this doesn't seem to work either. Am I on the right track? Any little nudges is the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in exactly the same position. This room is a tough one... I've noticed that I can get the goblin to trigger the roach's pressure plate, but that doesn't seem to be useful since I can't get the roach to move out.

i can't figure out how to maneuver around the roach on the raft, there's only one way to position the raft correctly, but no matter what, you need three moves (with the speed potion) to get the raft away from where the roach can get back on it. i can get the roach onto the pressure plates, but then i don't have enough moves to get back on the raft and move it.
