Thanks... so do you drop 2 trapdoors right away (can't seem to survive to do that)? Or drop 1 trapdoor, lure roaches to 2 pressure plates, and then get to the other trapdoor (can't escape the onslaught)?

The latter is the method I used; I'm not sure the first is possible. Actually, looking at my replay, I see that I didn't need to drop a second trapdoor at all.

This is a horrible room. With your help (thanks to both of you) I managed to kill all aumtlich except the two on the right hand side. But there's so many roaches coming from the left that I'm essentially stuck.

Edit: managed to hack my way out...

I'm in your situation before your edit... 4 aumtlich killed, and jumping from left to right using tunnel, killing roaches too slowly, so i'm stuck.
help!

Edit: now I killed the 6 aumtlich, but still stuck...
