I haven't read all of the pages, but I have read some of the pages in the bugs section, and I don't think that anyone has notcied this yet.
I was just making a little fun hold and, wel I'll try to describe it.

If you put a roach mother and a brain so that there is a direct route to Beethro, then the roaches will come straight for Beethro. However, If you put an unbroken line of force arrows between Beethro and the roach mother, the roaches will aact like they are not affected by a brain and will come directly for Beethro, which means that you can trap them rather easily and kill them. People may not have noticed this before because In most of the holds I've seen, the roach mother are right by force arrows anyway. However, this means that if you try to make the roahces go around an obstacle while making sure that Beethro cannot get to them, they do not come round and merely act like normal roaches until they cross the line of arrows.

and furthermore, flijikl.

For better or for worse, this is by design. Brains view force arrows as obstacles and will not route enemies through them in the pathmap. Consequently, any monsters separated from Beethro by force arrows will not see a pathmap to him and will beeline. This is discussed in this thread.

See this thread and this thread for more brain idiosynchrasies.

Sorry, your brain will also not allow roaches to pass over arrows until Beethro's walked on them.
