I had just cleared the flames around the valkyrie and she has told me of the eyes and who has them. When I visit either town, none of the residents will talk to me. They keep telling me to go away and there's an awful sound effect. The only other place I've visited is Svartalfheim. Not sure if I did something there or collected an item that's making this happen or if it's because of the eyes? No idea! What's going on? Thanks!!

Okay so what she says is that it's because of my own deed and someone pure and innocent can remove the curse. I'm guessing Heime. He and Hervor are the only people who would talk to me. I'm still looking for him...

My other guess would be that the bridge troll might take it.

Was there any clue that picking up the ring would cause this? I didn't look at it before I picked it up.

When you first take the ring, there's a message about it feeling tingly.

Then if you tried reloading to before you picked up the ring, the ring will follow you and be in your inventory!
