I'll give you two hints to start out with:

Check the contents of the room to the south. There's a helpful pointer in there

Also, if you've read every scroll in the hold, one of them might give you a clue as to what you're supposed to be looking for.

You're on the right track - focus on that third secret tag you have there.

Since the letters in the + number letter operations are all the letters A through J, the letters A through J should stand for something.

You're given a list of 12 words, each indicating a room with a fuse diagram in it. These rooms don't contain the 12 elements that you need to order in a list...

There was a scroll promising some special bonus for those who complete the level in one pass without restoring. Would I lose that bonus if I restore to other rooms in order to e.g. read the scrolls and then back to the 1N10W?

If you entered 1N10W with all the secrets cleared, you should be fine! If you're on the restore page and looking at this room, and all the other rooms are cleared, then feel free to restore as often as you like as long as you restore back to this room (as opposed to walking back) when you're done.

This puzzle lost me until I realized that the L thingies don't have to line up perfectly.

I did this just the other day. Didn't work out all the scrolls, but I worked out enough of them that I was able to use trial-and-error to get the rest of the order.

D? Is that the room with a bunch of scrolls on trapdoors that just repeat a rant about buying patriotic bathing caps, or do the hints only count if there's only one scroll in the room?

I guess the most specific question I can think to ask at this point is what do the signposts mean?

My biggest problem is that I can't find any hints on how to interpret the scrolls. If I could figure out whats hidden in the random text I could probably do the rest of the puzzle without much trouble.

Well, I will give you one hint as to exactly what you're looking for and then if specific scrolls are giving you trouble you can ask about them. (Though, as I said, I didn't figure out all of them.) Also I'll include a hint to Scroll B, since you get the answer in a pretty different way from all the other scrolls.

I can't get directions from scrolls A, D, E, or F. I'm Also questioning wether scroll I is what I think it is. It seems like it's West but I'm not all that sure.

I couldn't work out A or E at all.

D I could only sort of work out and then tested.



I have a full solution for F, though.



I came to the same conclusion you did for I.

With everything worked out except A and E, I was able to work out all but three of the signposts, which meant I only needed six attempts to check all the possibilities, so I just did that.

I am too confused. Maybe it's baby brain, but I don't know if I'm supposed to be looking at the scrolls, the symbols, or the rooms with signposts, or how to put all of those together. It's all too meta for me, and there definitely isn't enough time to try all the combinations for 12 orbs.

Have you looked at the in-game hints? (Press Special Command repeatedly while in the room.) The last one pretty thoroughly spells out how all the various aspects of the puzzle fit together.
