Heroine Quest: Rescue guy in the woods (0)

So I have the feeling I need to build a litter and drag him out or find someway to warm him up but I can't seems to find either. I'm sure this is something simple compared to the rest of the game but I guess my adventure gaming is a little rusty. Ideas?

Ok so for the sorcerer you can use the flame aura spell on him (I had thought you could only use it on yourself) and save him.

as a thief you have to talk him into getting up as a warrior you just pick him up
