What am I supposed to do?
-arrange the round things before going to the pp ?
I' tried many different patterns, but none lead to a solution
-going first to the pp and then move the things in order to drive the snake onto the hot tile ?
worked on this for several hours, but nothing.

I've also tried to push the PP with one of the things, but beethro remain locked in

pls help

Ignoring the monsters for a moment, if you step on the PP the rattlesnake will escape to the west and then go north at his first opportunity. He will continue going north until he cannot go north anymore.

What will he do then?

There are a few possible Boulder Crab configurations that work here. The simplest one to set up was hinted at by disoriented: If there are no crabs in the way of the rattlesnake at all, it will move north right after you let it free, until it reaches the wall. Afterwards,
