I can't get started on this room: I assume that I am to use the decoy supply to keep the roach moving across the hot tiles right around the loop to the pressure plate.

Am I on the right track? I tried setting up a couple of decoys ready, then opening the gate and letting the roach out, but I'm unable to kill a decoy having setup the next one without the roach becoming attracted to me.

I started with a decoy on then killed it with my next decoy. Then I put one at

Remember that if Beethro is in 5 squares from the roach, the roach will prefer Beethro.

Because of this, you only need the decoys
