There's a staircase tucked away elsewhere on the level that will get you where you want to go.

Well Alex Diener's LP of this hold has motivated me to finally try to finish it. Looks like I have to get the 2x2 platform out in order to get a cuttable gel formation. I can get it down to row 13, but always get stuck there. In order to get it down that far, I seem to need to get at least 2 1x1 platforms up to row 11 giving me much less maneuverability after that. I'd like to get a horizontal 1x2 and the other two 1x1s under it at that point but can't seem to swing it. I'm basically just fiddling randomly at this point. Any strong hints or pointers would be welcome.
