At least sombody had to check the last option. So wait, If I hate DROD, why is it on my Desktop installed with the newest verison, also creating and sending holds here that took some time. And what am I doing here on the forum????!!! Gahhhh!!!! The insanity!!!!

I personally think that DROD teaches you to look at things differently in life to see the easy way to do something rather than the hard way.

You mean killing things with a sword one at a time instead of using other methods to do it all at once (and faster)?

Or do you mean the easy way as in "do no play DROD at all" ?

I mean that if you are being annoyed by a room, whether it be the colour scheme (level 8 colour - yeuch!), or a hideous monster trying to kill you but doesnt move until you do, then it is easier to get out your sword and press q and w a lot and...

Actually, DROD has made me learn to view the world around me differently, although not in the way you just mentioned.

For one thing, whenever I step into a room that has a floor made of tiles (carpet type included), especially if it is chequered, the first thing I think of is DROD - how the room could be converted into a dungeon room, and whether or not I could somehow organise everyone in a room to help re-enact a smiting scene involving Beethro and some deadly monsters.
