I am feeling really stupid here. I have killed all the roaches, but the green doors don't go down and the map to the left is still red, so something is still alive. But what? I thought it might be something invisible which I have to get with the decoy, but no I can't find anything there.

Please put me out of my misery!

Yup, there's an invisible monster you have to kill with the decoy. It's called a spider. If you look at the image for this room, linked to at the header of the thread, you'll see the starting position of this spider.

If you proceed to move around the room a bit, you should be able to sleuth out where the spider is, and kill it with the decoy.
