So, a couple new things:

We no longer store your passwords in plain text
In fact, as long as you have javascript enabled, your plain text password will never ever be seen by anyone other than you.

I've also changed the rules for acceptable complexity - as you're typing your password, you get a 0-10 brain display of complexity. It's not an exact science, and it doesn't compute how long it would take to crack your chosen password. The only hard rule is that it must be at least 6 characters, and the computed complexity should be at least 3 brains. I'd suggest 10 brains though.

Timezones are now much more intelligent
We now use the IANA timezone database. If you visit the front page of the forum, it will try to set your timezone for you. Once you have it set correctly, it should always show correct timestamps, as the database knows when DST starts and ends for your zone.

Timezones are a nightmare - glad you've adopted the Olson db. Wish the rest of the world would too but it's a great data source

Now wait for requests for searching both in the user selected timezone or poster's local timezone when the post was made. That's great fun
