I mean, it's a BRICK DOOR. Who knows what's behind it? There could be a tiger! Or a llama. Or a tiny rock. Setting aside the fact that it's a 'neather brick door, which should justify everything, it's still piqued my curiosity more than the Grand Event could ever have hoped to.

I really really thank all of your ideas. If i was able to make all of these games, I would. ASAP. But I just do not have the knowledge to make a game at 12 yrs old. But all of you are great storyline makers. And i apreciate the fact that all of you have helped me try to persue my dreams. But I just do not have the knowledge to do so.

Take some programming classes at your school, and when you get to high school, see if you can take AP Computer Programming (or whatever your equivalent).

It sure helped me a lot. Having a formal instructor makes things a lot easier to understand.

OK. I've taken your advice and I'm going to start making the hold. It's just that start making the hold. Sorry for being so pessimistic about this whole project before. I just have a few features that I want to put into this game but I do that. Also I'm not so good at programming the game.

Nice start.

All the rooms are completable and they are quite nice and easy while not being tedious.

A couple of things -

You do realise that you are free to make a drod hold yourself that can stand on its own and that doesn't have to be one of the "official" drod series games (e.g. drod 6 or 7 or 8)? There are over 400 holds on the holds board that do this. This is particularly the case because you don't even know what happens in DROD 5 yet, so why are you trying to make DROD 7?

If you are posting a hold for people to play/test, you should probably make a thread on the Architecture board.

Anyway, in summary, I think that you're channelling the spirit of Erik as he build KDD level 1. Not strictly a bad thing, but there are much better people to be channelling.

Also, this definitely belongs in Architecture.

Oh, one last thing. Unless people have a *really* good reason for doing it another way, 7 usually comes after 6. That is, the immediate successor to 5 is 6, and S(6)=7.

You can
(a) do puzzles where you play Halph and which do not require him to be armed or
(b) have puzzles where you play Beethro and Halph is helping you out (he can open doors etc)
