Using Whose Line is it Anyway's style of hoedown, create your own single-verse hoedown that has something to do with DROD. It could be the world, the characters, or even the devilish architects behind it all. Here is an example:

Beethro Budkin is a smiter prowling the Beneath,
always looking for a room to sink in with his teeth,
but perhaps he found something that his brain could not cut,
because he was in a hold whose author was named "Jutt".

So take it away, architects, whenever you guys are ready. Thousand points (whatever I can fish out of my pocket) to the winner.

I'm just going to clarify, for those who may not be familiar with it: Those points are almost certainly Whose Line? points, not rank points. Those points mattered so little the hosts would fairly often assign them to audience members, celebrities not in the room, themselves... I think at least once a pet goldfish got some.

I meant rank points. However, I used the terminology that I did both to stay in style and to show that my mod point wallet is not exactly overflowing.

His nephew Halph's a real brat, his sister's got some class,
Sometimes he wants to sell his sword and move to Pickensass,
But he's stuck running in circles inside a hold made by a jerk.
Puppet Master makes grown men weep, argh! curse you Larrymurk!

What's there to say, Trickster? A hoedown response would be off topic, and you've already been told more prosaically to knock off injecting pony into everything.

Hmm...reminds me of when Maurog would mod down everyone who would use the exploding smiley. I say don't worry about the modding -- keep posting the pony stuff.

I just want to be entirely clear that we've just given Trickster license to pony everywhere and all over everything.

I mean I'm okay with that

I like ponies

I cannot promise I will not suddenly burst into Homestuck reaction images

I just want to be sure that's what's going on.

I actually liked the pony hoedown.
It was on topic and a very clever meld of Beethro and ponies.
Well done, I say. :thumbsup

Anyway - here's hoedown:

Beethro Budkin is his name,
And smiting is his game,
He lives to fight each day,
'Cause sometimes he runs away.

I think a far larger problem than the pony influx is that Drew Carey is used as the reference host instead of Clive Anderson.

I found both of your rhymes really good Trickster. While I don't like you randomly inserting ponies everywhere (which actually seems to be less case now than before) these two were really cool :).

This is dedicated to the genius that is Ryan Stiles (on a bad day :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMY90_NNdxo)

Just the other day I was playing some DROD
I walked down a corridor and then erm... I met God
He said... and... then... erm... that all was good
To this day, I still don't know why he was in the neighbourhood

Would it really bother people in Anything? It gets pretty silly down there.

Did they do hoedowns in the British version of that show? Somehow I thought that was American.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Trickster smitefest.

That being said, I admit that I am a huge fan of both the show and the Internet phenom that coincides with it. Both are hilarious.
I'll probably regret this, but ... what internet phenom about a pony show?

Probably the fact that a show with cute ponies which was aimed at 12 year old girls is most popular among adult males.

Here's some further reading courtesy of Wikipedia...

And on the contrary - this.

First go hope I'm doing this right

Mrimer and his friends made a little site
they pinned it down and made a copyright.

He improved a little game made by eric
His basement taking up the globe not I'm not hysteric.

second go

Beethro looked on the forums he found a pony picture
he coughed and gagged and gave a minus five.

Picking up his sword went outside chopped a roach and made the double burger mixture
Put a squirt of hot sauce "better make that eight" and gave it to his nephew in a second you could hear "is he alive?"

1st Archivist got up one day and looked into a mirror,
His forehead was much too large and thus he shed a tear,
But only one! There's work to do! The Grand Event is nigh,
A luncheon with Pit Thing first to discuss the Second Sky.

4th Tunnler looked across the pit between the two portals,
The physics required to understand was beyond a mere mortal,
"But how, then, do you build them?" asked his son one afternoon,
"Everything's consistent, m'boy, now go back to your room."

903rd Basket Weaver was at his desk, doing what he did best,
It wasn't basket weaving because good heavens! What a mess.
He sat around all day at work, scribbling out bad Hoedowns,
1st Scoffer's scoffing at which would fix on him a frown.

3rd Editor saw the last stanza and threw up inside her mouth,
"That wasn't even funny, and that last line went quite south."
"I mean really, who talks like that? Not folk dancing for fun."
"A proper Hoedown needs wit and charm, like jokes about a ray gun."

I don't remotely understand when wraithwings move with brains,
I don't remotely understand when builders move in trains,
I don't remotely understand why golems are so stony,
But mostly I don't get the downmods when Trickster posts about things.
