X Y Z is a game me and my girlfriend came up with. It consists of decoding what words the unknowns stand for. If I have chosen the word “car park” I can say sentences like:
A car park is a place for cars, but it isn’t really a park. Or at least you wouldn’t say stuff like “oh, what a lovely park!” if you saw one.
I wouldn’t say this, since this would give away my chosen word. I would instead say:
A X Y is a place for Xs, but it isn’t really a Y. Or at least you wouldn’t say stuff like “oh, what a lovely Y!” if you saw one.
And you can also say thing like:
A cart and a car have certain things in common. You could cart a car, or a car could drag a cart. Both are used for transporting stuff. Most people would be quite displeased if you carved in their car.
This would translate to:
A Xt and a X have certain things in common. You could Xt a X, or a X could drag a Xt. Both are used for transporting stuff. Most people would be quite displeased if you Xved in their X.
An example puzzle: I’m thinking of the word X Y Z. Click the progressing hints in the secret text. I doubt anyone will need more hints since some of the later hints are quite easy.

×A X Y Z is a Z, but it hopefully is not very X.

×When I say X Y Z I mean the Z said is located on your X Y (which is one of your Ys, and X Y is not the most common way to talk about that Y, even though it is your Xest Y)

×And sometimes people want rather X Zs. Then they can use fake Zs.

×Then they appear to have X YZs (and YZ is of course a double word).

×Guitar players might also want to have X YZs, but they can’t use fake Zs, because that would kind of defeat the purpose.

×You probably have to use your Ys when you Z Zs.

×Your pinky Y is probably not very X. At least not as X as you X Y.
