Hi! I'm a computer geek who happens to use a Mac. Not everyone loves Macs, but it's generally understood that we Macfolk are a decent lot. Many of us enjoy using our brains to play a little DROD once in a while.

When I preordered DROD 4 I noticed the only options were for Windows and Linux.

Now, I am not one to prematurely but I am wondering if a Mac port will ever be forthcoming. It may simply be a matter of the development staff needing time to add platform support. Or there may be difficulties with the 3rd party library support for OS X. Or something else.

Or there may be no Mac port planned. In that case, many of us would wonder why that might be.

As a possible stopgap solution, will the Windows version of the game be tested under Wineskin on the Mac?

I for the life of me wouldn't recommend anyone to buy into the walled garden that are Apple's computer, tablet or phone products, but - is DROD really making so little money that even the lowest of the low of their machines is out of the question?
