What would you do if you wake up one morning log on to the caravel forum and see all your hard worked rank points are gone OR
what if you had 100000 rank points out of nowhere(this means you can mod people as much as you want).
I would do somthing like this .

I'd go hunt down Erik and see why he decided to take the server for another bike ride.

I'd alert Schik to the problem and politely request some rank points in the meantime so I can post links or whatever it is one needs rank points to do.

I'm not sure how many of my rank points come from hard work! Even if someone/something somehow removed all the points that had even a little work behind them, I think it's safe to assume I'd be left with a few I got from making silly jokes on the spot or posting links to interesting stuff I found elsewhere. That would still be enough for all practical purposes, I guess.

My hardest earned points (counting hours of work) are definitely from the Architecture board threads where I put up my holds for testing. But one doesn't make not holds just to earn a few rank points. It's a satisfying thing to do for completely different reasons

If I lost all of them? I guess I'd have to ask someone who might know to explain what Erik taking the server for a bike ride has to do with this. I have no idea...

He's certainly less active, and I think at one point he sold his share of Caravel to Mike. I wonder if he ever regrets that decision. Anyway, since then I think he did some story and art work, so he's still somewhat involved, but I don't know if he reads the forum.

Actually, I saw him online just yesterday, so I'm sure he still pops in once in a while. He also drew some new artwork for DROD:GatEB recently, including the Gunthro portrait.
