Well, that was... educational.
Eh, whatever. Not important to me. Anyway, I wanted to make three specific comments on Trickster's hold.

Once East:
Like I said in my comments where I stated my vote, this room really could have used a vision token. This is obviously well-known. What I wanted to say about this room was that it could have used better checkpoint placement, since the ones available are a bit out of the way and constantly devoured by tar. That was annoying.
Twice East:
This was a really, really good room in my opinion. Searching around the room for the decoy potions was something I surprisingly enjoyed. I want to see more of that. The lynchpin in question was thoroughly amazing. Overall, this is the best room I have ever conquered (and second best I have ever seen, the first being the western secret room in Imperial Wandering: S.A.B.E.R.S. Chambers, for different reasons that I will not explain here).
Thrice East:
If I remember correctly, this was the room with three blobs of the three kinds of tarstuff, each with their respective mothers. If I remember correctly, I had a great deal of fun in this room and solved it fairly quickly. Maybe I am mixing up the room with something else, or maybe I just have a knack for this kind of tarstuff clearing.

Okay, so: I create a beta board, then I upload my hold (I assume in anyone-can-edit format?), then I invite people. Is it common to create a thread in Architecture to ask who would be interested in beta-testing your hold, and then make the invites?
You got it perfectly. Or, if you do not want to create a thread in Architecture at all, you can shoulder-tap some people via PM and ask if they will help you test. I imagine you would get plenty of accepts that way, but you would probably get even more if you used a public thread in Architecture first.
