icon Advice on getting a board game published (0)  
I've mostly designed a board game, I just have some beta testing to do to tweak it until it's complete. I was wondering if anyone here knows where I could look to get it published. It's a tactical space combat game, played like a lot of older strategy games, on a hex map.

Maybe search for something like indie board games? I'm sure there are societies and such for board game fans and the hard-core fans would know of other people in your situation.

That looks promising, but I couldn't find any die-cut counters on there, which my game really needs. It's not that it needs them right now as much as I plan on expansions (even if I never sell it) and it'll eventually have a lot of different pieces.

I would recommend looking around BoardGameGeek for forum threads on this subject.

Also, new indie game developer/publisher Tasty Minstrel Games has blogged on this subject recently, iirc.
