Awesome help again! I am now stuck on Second Bonus: Twice South, the puzzle with the staff and evil eyes, but I think the level is still under construction so I'll come back to it later.

Actually wait, that solution doesn't help at all because I can't kill the eyes without stepping on the plate to open the door, cause if I don't open the door then I get stuck in the force arrow trap when I smite the eyes, just like the original version of the room, and I clicked on all the orbs and pressure plates to see how they affect each other and I know for certain after clicking I can't solve it without stepping on the plate 110%.

Another awesome lynchpin.

Note my latest hold uses the third level's secret room's gimmick in my latest version in level 6, but because it doesn't play the same as the room and is altered not only in how it looks but also how it plays I think it's fair game - the HA rule is that it's only bad if you're ripping off other people's rooms verbatim, but quote unqoute "making an easier or harder version of an existing room is OK."

Okay, never mind that... for reference to anybody, the new rule is that copying someone's room and only making a small alteration is still 100% not OK, because it's like copying someone else's Photoshop work and changing only one or two pixels, then calling it your own.

Just for the record, that is not new. The old HA rules thread and the new one are the same in the copyright rule in this regard, we consider rooms the copyright of the original author and you need to get permission from the author to use them.

And like you explained in the other thread, it doesn't need a rule because it's just common sense that changing only one teensy little detail of someone else's work doesn't magically make it your own if the rest of the details are unaltered.
