I would love to make a turn-based tile-based puzzle game like DROD.
I'm fluent in C# and XNA, and I'm pretty sure I can do it, but every time I try to concentrate and think about a solid engine that is easy to expand and modify, I always encounter too many problems.
I'm asking if someone who knows C++ well will kindly tell me how the DROD engine briefly works.
I don't care about rendering and such, I can handle that, I just want to know how the "
game logic"
works, the monsters, the items, etc.
