I'm still stuck in many indoor rooms, and this is one of them I have no clue what to do. It appears that I can't keep both of the center roaches alive, while I can't seem to completely trap one roach in a non hot-tile area for me to lure the four corner roaches out. I definitely need a push in the general direction.

If you have no luck with mxvladi's approach, you can also try an easier way of completing the room.

mxvladi's hint was enough to push me over the obstacle, even though it still took me a super-inefficient 700+ moves...

For solving this room, I found that if I formed all six mirrors into a line terminating at a wall, I could step through a gap and use my sword to push the mirror nearest the wall, leaving the chasing roach with a long route to get to me. This gives enough time to go up to a corner and have the trapped roach move into position to be stabbed. However, a second visit is needed to actually do the stabbing (for a total of 8 visits to the corner squares). This is somewhat repetitive, but it works.

i need more help!


using the brain as brain-invisible obstacle would probably work, if only i could convince the roach to stay behind this obstacle. usually it is one step behind me, not enough to use the brain as a blocker


for the second approach (forming a line with the mirrors which terminates at a wall) i have the same problem - the roach is too close to block the path with a mirror.

what can i do??????
maybe watching a demo?
