Gel on the right. I need 2 swords to cut it. And I need more to eliminate gel babies. This is the furthest my mental abilities brought me. Any clue how to cut it and keep the guy north from me on his spot?
The hold so far is GREAT

First, if you destroy the rightomst gel blob last, the black gates switch and you will conquer the room even if you can't immediately kill all the gel babies. This way you will miss some secrets, though.

Destroying the rightmost gel blob the hard way is quite difficult. A hint:

I can post a complete solution later, when I'm back home.

Thank you for quick response. I even built the copy of this room in Build levels section and tried to figure it out, but it did not help. So with your hint I may do better.

This room isn't making any sense to me. Would it be possible to get a guide to this room? Thanks :blush

Thanks a lot, I get it now. It's a great concept, I just wish it had a gentler introduction :)

I've done this room the easy way, but now I want to do it the hard way. After cutting the top 2 easy gel configurations, I have to cut the one taking up 10 squares. I've already used Excel to see how to position myself and the mimics:

However, I'm having a ton of trouble getting this formation of mimics and Beethro over here. I'd hate to ask for it, but can I have a demo of this?

Here's what my demo looked like 1 move before cutting the gel:

Thanks. I used an entirely different (reflected?) setup that was easier to get to from my position, but what made the difference was the 1 horizontal mimic.

I must be missing something major because I've never known mimics to point in any direction other than Beethro's when they are created. What I end up with is four mimics all pointing and turning like Beethro, yet the hint images clearly show them pointing in different directions.

You don't have to do the SE blob the hard way. It's possible to reach the secret rooms without clearing the room.

How? I can't figure out how to get there, I've found every other secret room in the level.

I am eternally sad. After what seems like years of messing around here, I managed to get to this state. Unfortunately, my upwards-facing mimic is after the lower of the two NE mimics in movement order, so I don't know what to do now. Is there anything I can do to salvage this? I really do not want to repeat this ordeal.

Well, I'm trying to do this the hard way, to access the secret room behind it.

Sorry, but I never got the demo. I solved it via a 3 video guide on youtube. Thanks for making it, though. I bet many others will get a ton of use from it.
