It is possible to localize the hold texts; to my knowledge no one has done it yet and I forget how to do it.

Well, there *IS* a russian version of TCB, but I don't think know if you can somehow crossgrade to it from the English version... yet.

Well, there *IS* a russian version of TCB, but I don't think you can somehow crossgrade to it from the English version... yet.

As far as I understand this patch mean to fix localization. But considering how patches are done nowadays, this patch can be used to install localization as well.

DROD support localization inherently; it's possible to localize the entire thing without modifying executable. As I said above, I forget how; you'd have to ask someone more knowledgeable (such as mrimer) or grep the forums for a post describing how it's done.
