I figured out the room, but...

Unless I can get the goblin get stuck somewhere, so I can hit the orbs, and then get the goblin back to do his stuff, I know I'm gonna need a demo.

Sure, you can get a demo. But which orb is it that you can't hit, and still be in control over the goblin?

the orb at (28,6) got this one,

EDIT:maybe I'll try some more,
(now stuck with orb (16,15) & (22,6) )

Right, so I've hit the first orb at (28,6) while standing on the cross. The goblin is directly west of me (is this where he should be?)

Can somebody post the sequence of moves that allows me to safely hit the next orb at (16,15)?

To be honest, you should follow the standard goblin procedure.

I don't know how to explain this without posting a demo

Feel free to watch it, however, be advised that I've beaten this room with this demo, so watch up to certain point that you need, and if you're true to yourself, don't watch further.
