Hi, I'm stuck again.

I'm one move short but I can't find it

I've attached a demo, so you can see if my aproach is good.

(TCB version 3.2.1.85)

Please help. I absolutely cannot figure out how to get the room cleared before the mimic reaches the bombs. I can't see a way to trap a roach in the chamber with the pressure plate; it gets fried before I can get high enough. I can't kill a goblin before I kill the snake (well I can, but then I have to put a roach on the same spot.) I've tried various ways of killing the roach queen while hanging onto a roach or two or three, but with no success so far. Any tips? Are any of these the right approach? Thanks.

I am also 1 move short of victory in this room. I need to find a way to save 1 more move before the mimic hits the final bomb. Please help if possible.

I'm at the one move short position as well. I hope that by posting I figure it out like the others have but just in case, any tips on how to spare that last move?

I am such an dope. I didn't notice the green sister door: thought I had to get to the exit gate before the mimic hit the bombs and I figured I was never going to solve this room.

Nope, I'm the dope, it took me until now to realize that. Funny thing is, I wasn't even playing (not this hold, not DROD or RPG) when it came to me!

So many variations and I'm always 1 move short of killing the last goblin.

A lot of you had the same problem so what did you do?

I'm in that position. Did you kill the 3 roaches with the sword that way? I feel like I can squeeze a move out of the 3 roaches but either the ortho field is in the way or I'm killing the goblin.

Moments after posting I finished the room, internet crash, drod crash. Well, no progress lost. Phew...

I did turn my sword in the solution and only killed 2 roaches on the way, other one got stuck on the force arrow.

Now, after trieing so hard without turning the sword and failing I'm even more interested in your demo.

Thanks, now I know what I did wrong. Haha, turned my sword to kill the queen, never thought of optimizing this step

How do I prevent the decoy from blowing up the bomb? I'm always at least one turn short...
