All the rooms in King Dugan's Dungeon 2.0 are the same as the rooms in the original King Dugan's Dungeon, except for the secret rooms. So, you can use the hints for the original King Dugan's Dungeon.

Please tell me that scroll isn't a challenge. I'd check Steam's Achievements list but it's been acting up.

The scroll describes a challenge for the next room (2S1W). It was placed in this room because serpents can't move onto scrolls, so adding a scroll to 2S1W might break old demos.

Odd... It's just flavor text now, and 2S1W does indeed have a scroll (though only in the Neather's area after you clear the room)
