Hadn't planned on that scenario but it's becoming a distinct possibility. If that happens, we'll reroll all dice.

I'm realizing now that I should have given you each probably a fifth of the amount of money that I did and altered the banking appropriately. If you guys keep outbidding each other by one greckle, this is going to take another week.

I believe that putting the amount of greckles each person owns (including those currently in a bid) will help make accurate point tallying easier when calculating the scorechart after several players have made moves. This would have been a lot more helpful back before everyone consolidated their points, though...

I hate to sound grumpy, but if this continues with 1GR bids and I've understood how this will play out correctly, then I think we're in store for about 30+ more bids. With the two primary bidders in opposite time zones, this could get ugly.

If the two tribes have a specific bidding strategy that they're going to follow until the end, then perhaps making that strategy public can help speed up this process. If you'd like to, PM me your algorithm. If I get submissions from both tribes, I'll post them both publicly. If you both agree that the opposing strategy is what you expected, we'll play it out until the end without having to go through the formalities of posting. What do you think? Maybe this will work, maybe it won't - but with another week of this challenge looming, I figure we might as well give it a shot.

I don't see how I have any choice, but I see no reason for Dischorran to continually outbid us. Basically, what is happening is that after every couple of rounds of bidding, we've both gone down by 1 greckle, and thus the situation has remained exactly the same. They're going to run out of greckles first due to the 60 greckle bid on lot 11, at which point we can finally stop at a position identical to if they had banked now.

I can't do anything but continue bidding until they decide to do so.
