Sidio RPG is ready already (I got it started ~half an hour ago)! :) It shouldn't have any bugs, and if it does, TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME! :nugget
By the way, if you want, you can suggest a tileset for Sidey (yes, that's his name) so he doesn't look like top-down Tendry.

Edit: Yes, the 'grapple' effect is intentional. (If you don't understand, jump to the edge of a platform, then get on top of it.)
Ediit: No, the visible sword isn't intentional. :(

Okay, I fixed the two bugs I heard in chat. The 'grapple' effect is dead, though.
If you die when jumping off a platform, undo, and wait a turn. It's a problem, but I don't know what to do about it. :(

The unintentional deaths from jumping off a platform are gone.
good thing too. in the TCB version, I couldn't figure out how it could be done.

I don't get the point. One room where you run into invisible obstacles. There appears to me no way to solve it.

Okay, I'm taking new features. Don't make them things like giant laser wielding roaches that can destroy the whole screen if you don't jump on them within 10 seconds. ;)

It could be interesting to give the protagonist the ability to shoot bullets horizontally by clicking the command key. The bullets would travel one square per turn. Then you could think about maybe adding enemies that would give specific amounts of collision damage to the player's health bar, and that take damage from the bullets. These two items would add a "killing enemies" element to the platformer.

Ladders to cling to and to climb up and down might be a good thing to implement also.

Gimme a minute or two to think about it.
Ladders to cling to and to climb up and down might be a good thing to implement also.
Did that in the form of rope, which you can climb up, down, left, right, forward, backward, on the screen, off the screen...

If you fire a few bullets left, then go up a rope, the last one changes direction and starts moving up. I guess a variable is getting updated too late. Pretty nice though. :D

Actually, I think it's because the bullet is still going to fire, but the gun object remembers the direction I was facing, but the bullet, which was just spawned, gets my current direction.

You can kill yourself while standing on the edge of a platform. Face south-east or south-west, depending what edge you are on, so the bullets are sent in that direction. Mass-click the launcher so about 20 bullets (so click 40 times) aren't showing up yet then turn to the opposite side and press 5 a couple times. The bullets that were "invisible" now launch from south-east (or south-west) but in the direction you face, thus hitting you.

Fixed it. You can't shoot point blank at monsters now (they don't exist yet, though), but then you just jump on them, so... yeah.

It's not exactly easy to make a goomba, too. :(

Jump Manager/Checker stops working when you try add exam.Yellow Door to script that makes Walls act like platforms in platformer (Doh! Cant explain!)

Could you make it so that Doors work like Walls you can stand on!
