I'm Canadian, and while I could go on and on about why this thread should not exist and carefully argue the importance of Terry Fox upon our nation, I'm simply going to let it go.

Besides, I'm fairly confident that Banjooie is Canadian as well, so I'm simply going to pray that you meant no harm with this other than to try and get a bit of attention.

Well, I now know who Terry Fox is.

Also, the joke doesn't make sense because he died a year after attempting the run.

Also "running across Canada" is a euphemism for playing DROD.

I don't know what relevance that has (unless you want to change the joke to offend DROD-playing Canadians)

Work is very busy at the moment and, as well as coaching the Under 18 Senior Rugby Team out of school hours, I'm up to the eyes in making a wedding cake. Yeah, I thought that too. He seems to have died from pneumonia on the background of metastatic osteosarcoma.
So I didn't see the point of the joke, or why it was so offensive.

Nonono. He has a daily quota how how much to wind people up. But in order to hibernate for winter, he needs to build it up a bit in advance so that he can rest in peace for the winter.

Oh dear god. That is awesome.

Personally, I think Erik is responsible for all of this. I mean, he used his alt Banjooie to keep the forum interesting, to provide balance to the bureaucracy and rally in protest for his original vison for DROD, none of this petty DROD RPG weakness. We already know he has a talent for art and writing, which Banjooie shares. And of course he constructs his battles with his alt in such a way to feed his narcissistic ambitions. Prove me wrong!
