I don't know if this is a bug or not but it sure messed me up for a while. If you point to the HP flask with your mouse, Tendry scoots up there and you skip the cut scene where you lose the pocket roach. If you don't lose him, he can't appear elsewhere in the level causing you to be unable to do certain things. Was this by design or is it a mistake.

Sounds like a bug to me (no pun intended). So now the thread's about to be moved again - I wonder if this is a record?

I did the bug to keep the pocket roach in the very beginning because I thought it was quaint. Does this render my game unwinnable?

I have no idea if it will work, but try leaving the room and then reentering it. Then go to the place where the cutscene starts.

restarting the level might be the best option.
